SDG—中文聯合國永續發展目標

也是我們來到這裡最重要的目的。

The main reason why we came there.

(4) SDG1 – No Poverty

 

這堂課我負責的部分比較少,

因為官方那幾乎沒有適合的workshop能做QQ

 

所以我就簡單介紹了「國際消除貧困日」(又稱「國際滅貧日」或「國際消貧日」)

 

Bcs the workshops online about SDG1 were not suitable for our session at that time,

I introduced the “International Day for the Eradication of Poverty”

 

這是由聯合國訂定的一個節日,

日期訂為每年的10/17

目的是希望藉由節日訂定的推廣,

能夠讓每個人都去知道,這個世界仍需要持續藉由行動來消除貧窮,

特別是在發展中國家,貧困的狀況相對嚴重,

 

It’s a day that observed on October 17 each year since 1993 from the UN,

The goal is to promote people’s awareness of the need to eradicate poverty and destitution worldwide,

particularly in developing countries.

 

但想當然爾,

消除貧窮不只是嘴上說說或是只在10/17這一天落實就好,

而是需要透過每個國家每個人的努力,

才可能做得到,”We Can End Poverty”

 

But of course,

To eradicate poverty is an action that need to do everyday to every countries and people,

If not, we still have no chance to reach the slogan wrote, “We Can End Poverty”

(5) SDG2 – Zero Hunger

 

這堂課的workshop其實也很簡單,

我們列出了SDG27項目標,

並請學生們選擇其中一項,小組討論出他們認為可以達成目標的方法

最後上台發表

 

The workshop in SDG2 actually not complex,

We showed the 7 targets for SDG2,

And made the participants to several groups and chose one target

They needed to share their ideas that how to complete the target

 

我本來以為他們的答案會超級的天馬行空,

但後來認真聽了以後卻發現其實很實際,

給人一種好像真能夠實踐的感覺

 

Originally I thought their ideas would be too creatively

But when they shared on the stage,

It all sounded like very suited everyone to do and reach the target.

(6) SDG3 – Good Health And Well-Being

 

這次的workshop真的是我這麼多堂課裡最喜歡的一次

 

This is the one I like the most in these workshops!!!

 

這次的是我把幾個官方給的資料各挑出一些概念之後,

自己整合出來的一個workshop

然後我把它取標題叫做“Good Health is…?”

 

This one was not like others that chose from the officials’,

I read all of the profiles and made this one by myself.

I named it, “Good Health is…?”

 

在一開始,我請每個學生們每個人以Good Health is作為句子的開頭,

寫下他們自己對於Good Health 的定義或感受,

 

At the beginning, I gave every participant a sticky note,

And asked them to write a sentence with the opening “Good Health is”

To write down their own thought about good health

 

後來,藉由一篇漫畫,

隨著故事發展,每一頁都有相關的問題需要作答,

 

I gave them a comic strip,

Through the story went on,

It had several questions that needed to answer

 

最終串聯起來,

Good Health的定義完整之外,

也拓展很多相關的概念,比如漫畫中最重要的”Plate PioneerZ”

 

At the end, we completed the meaning of “Good Health”

And also got new ideas just like the “Plate PioneerZ” in the comics

 

並且回歸到學生本身,

留下三個問題,

“What do you know about the Global Goals so far?”

“Have you taken any action for the Goals already?”

“What did this action look like?”

作為結束

 

At the same time,

I left three questions for them

“What do you know about the Global Goals so far?”

“Have you taken any action for the Goals already?”

“What did this action look like?”

這堂課的人數也是最少的一次,

從開課時只有8人,到中堂以後更只剩下5人,

 

This was the less participants’ session as well,

We started this class from 8 participants to 5 at the end

 

大概感覺到了為什麼常常聽人家說小班制教學更好,

不只學生,事實上對老師也一樣是有好處,

做為學生角色來說其實小班就是更貼近老師,

相對來說能吸收得快一些,專注力高一點

 

I could know why often heard that someone said small class size is better from this experience,

Not only benefit to student but teacher.

To students, the small class size will get close to teacher,

That make them can more focus on what teacher said

 

而做為教學者來說,

小班可以去照顧到每個學生的狀況,

甚至更貼近學生去教學,人少在時間控制上可以更抓準所有人的需要,

也能讓每個人都有發表意見的機會,

 

To teachers,

The small class size makes them can take care of their students,

To catch everyone’s need about the contents

Also make everyone have the chance to talk their ideas

 

但當然限制也有,

比方說因為人數少,教案其實不可能想得太過大型浮誇,

人少的狀況底下也需要去思考分組的必要性,

但相對於限制,

我覺得優點還是多了些吧,

至少人少點,掌控性就多了點

 

But also has its limit,

e.g. the teaching plan cannot too large and complex

the teacher also needs to think about the necessity of separate students to groups,

 

But I thought at least the small class size is better to contral everything that may happen in class.
